Week of October 2
THANKS to all the AWESOME parents that worked the Homecoming concessions!!! What a great group of people!! The Fans' Club is soooo glad they can count on us to work the Homecoming game!
Mon -Thurs 3-7pm the Shop will be open, projects include organizing/cleaning. Everything, or almost everything needs to be in its place to begin training!!
-- Animation will meet Tues and Thurs after school with Mrs. Asner, please come if you are interested in learning how to animate!!
Mon 7pm - Team meeting to elect officers
Wed 4:30-6pm is a time to help with Lego League, if you are interested. There are 7 middle schoolers on this team.
Next event is STEMfest at NIU on Oct 22. Oswego will be bringing the playing field, we need to bring field controls. So far we have 7 teams attending, including the Monty Pythons from Chicago. We need our robot/s running for this. Set up will be at 7am, event runs from 10am -5pm. If you want to join in on this trip, please sign up tomorrow night.
Oct 29 is Haunted Hallways. Mrs. Huff has offered to pick up black plastic sheets for the maze, she needs to know how many asap!
We are registered for competing at the Midwest Regional in Chicago, Mar 22-24. We will register for the Regional in Duluth, MN March 8-10, at the end of October. MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
